Schedule & Shows we are planning on selling at:
Upcoming shows will be listed by date with the next one
first.
Please assume as follows:
-
If
a show starts on a Saturday we will likely leave
for the show on Wednesday.
-
We
will pack the shop for travel on Monday and Tuesday.
-
YES,
we take the ENTIRE SHOP except consignment items.
-
That
gets us there and setup for the show on Friday
-
It
hopefully leaves us
enough time to answer e-mail and hopefully record
reservations each day.
-
We
typically return from a show on the following day
(Monday). We do not drive all night
to get home. Too dangerous.
-
That
means it will be Tuesday and Wednesday to set the
shop
up again.
-
The
shop & phone lines resume on the
Thursday following a show.
We are looking for suggestions for shows to attend on
the 'open' dates shown below.
If you know of a good show
let us know and we will consider adding it to our
schedule. Help Wanted:
If you live in a city we will visit, can follow simple
instructions (you must be able to read and count
in English), and can be available for setup
Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday morning and then
Sunday evening for pack-up, let us know.
We bring so much it is impossible for the two of us
to get it all setup timely and always HIRE help. |

We are planning on attending the N Scale convention in Hershey, PA. It is about a 3 day drive from Albuquerque, so we will most likely be closed from June 17th, 2011 - July 4th, 2011. We will reopen on July 5th.

This event has been dropped from our schedule for two reasons:
1) We received no offers to assist in getting the show setup even though we pay.
2) With diesel fuel already over $4.20/gal on 04/15/11 fuel costs alone would be well past $1,750 to get to and return from Hershey. Add to that the three nights lodging each way plus meals puts getting there and back well over $2,000. In addition would be lodging at Hereshey, space rental meals and the costs of the convention itself. It is not possible to sell enough to recover the out of pocket cost.
We will participate as we have every year by donating a large amount of product. |
