ZAP RAIL ZIP TRACK CLEANER
    • CORROSION INHIBITOR
    • RESTORES ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY
    • PENETRATES EXISTING CORROSION
    • WILL NOT DAMAGE PLASTICS
    • PREVENTS CORROSION FOR SEVERAL MONTHS

Uses:

RAIL ZIP is a high tech concentrated corrosion inhibitor and track cleaner. RAIL-ZIP penetrates existing corrosion layers and restores electrical conductivity to all model railroad tracks. It eliminates arching and sparking to assure total layout integrity. The uses for RAIL-ZIP extend beyond model railroading, anywhere you have electrical contacts and corrosion problems you can use RAIL-ZIP. Auto and motorcycle connectors, plugs and fuses can remain trouble free making sure your new, classic or antique electrical systems won’t cause problems. Outdoor lighting fixtures will be more reliable requiring less maintenance. Because RAIL-ZIP works chemically and not mechanically, hard to reach contacts can be easily treated.

Helpful Hints:

Apply RAIL-ZIP to a clean cloth, cotton swab, felt pad or sponge. Apply a thin even coating on the surface to be treated. Wipe up any excess RAIL-ZIP with a water dampened cloth. If one part of a connector set is not easily reached for treatment, repeated applications of RAIL-ZIP to, along with repeated insertions of the accessible connector into the set will coat both parts. For lighting fixtures, remove the bulb and apply RAIL-ZIP to the contacts of the bulb only and insert or screw into the fixture. Repeat as required to treat the fixture contacts. Wipe off all RAIL-ZIP that comes in contact with the glass surface of the bulb. Do not use on halogen type bulbs and sockets. For heavily corroded parts, allow RAIL-ZIP to work for 6 to 12 hours before restoring power to the circuit. NEVER WORK ON ANY PART OF A LIVE OR ACTIVE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT, DO NOT APPLY RAIL-ZIP TO ANY CIRCUIT THAT IS OR MAY BE LIVE. MAKE SURE ALL POWER IS DISCONNECTED TO THE PARTS YOU WILL BE TREATING, FAILURE TO DISCONNECT THE POWER CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
