shop. It is hard (ok, impossible) to get setup by ourselves
in the time allotted.
We hire help so we don't have to leave something behind.
Contact us as far in advance as possible if interested.
We request a confirmation from you ~2 days before we leave
for the show that you will still be available. If we have
too many people it can be as difficult as too few. We
will also need to get a phone # from you and will provide you
with a cell phone # to contact us. |

Stock Checks:
Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the hour (sometimes
by the minute). To maintain our pricing structure we maintain
stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each year. We cannot
guarantee stock status till we have an order in hand. All
product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm that we have
it, and, while we are waiting for the order it sells, you
would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on the orders
placed while the item was on hold. Also we wasted staff time
that could have been used to pull actual orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean
we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms pages, we don’t do
it anymore.

Micro-Trains© Line has
announced that beginning with the June 2008 releases they
will deliver all auto-ship quantities "simultaneously"
across the United States.
This means our auto-shipment should arrive on the second or third business
day of the month.
The result will be that our window for reservations will be shorter.
Once they arrive here, stock pricing applies.
Please be sure your reservations are placed by close of business on the first
business day of the month. For most of our customers this will not
be an issue. |

return preparation work that George still does for
his accounting clients. The onslaught of
new announcements is basically
covered. So,
we
will be
closing
early on Saturday 04/26 @ 4:00 pm allowing Debra
and George their first day off since Labor Day 2007. The
shop doors will re-open @ 10:30 am on Tuesday 04/29 as
per normal
with a new voice answering the phones when they open
@ 12noon on Tuesday.
