The latest innovation in Unitrack are the M (Master)
and V (Variation) Unitrack sets; these sets provide the backbone
of your layout and then allow you to easily expand from there
with an all-in-one-box solution, making it simple for those
who are getting into the hobby as well as those who are looking
to add to their existing layouts!
The Master series sets (as well as our P42 Superliner Starter
Set) provide everything you need to create a basic layout;
an oval of track, a powerpack, tools such as the Kato
re-railer, and in the case of our Starter Set, a beginning
consist of
a locomotive and three Amtrak passenger cars.
The Variation series sets are designed to complement the
Master series sets, containing complete layout sections such
as passing sidings, elevated viaducts and bridges, rail yards,
crossovers, and inner and outer track loops. Each box is
complete with every part necessary to build the individual
track component, and has listings of possible track combinations
on the back to get you started.

Each car has shock absorber construction for smooth and reliable operation. The
observation car features a continuous lighted drumhead sign and red marker lights
and a directional backup light.
All cars are factory equipped with the Kato fully automatic knuckle couplers
and feature fine lettering with car numbers and other markings. The interior
of the passenger cars can be lighted with the optional installation of our Interior
Lighting Kit (#11-209 Single, #11-210 6-pack).
Additional 4 car
Super Chief sets (Set B 106-6002 and Set C 106-6003) and
F7A (176-2121) and F7B (176-2211) locomotives are also
available. The back side of the box contains additional
layout combinations using the new Master and Variation
set packages.

Unitrack Track
Sets
The
K1, K2, and K3 track sets simplify Unitrack operations.
Use the sets individually or in combination as the foundation
for larger and better layouts.
The
K1 Standard Set builds a basic single-track oval with an
approximate size of 4'2" x 2'2" using our 12-3/8" radius
curve track.
The
K2 Turnout Set contains two of our #6 turnouts (one left,
one right), turnout control switches and additional pieces
of track to expand the K1 set into an oval with a passing
siding or an oval with two spurs.
The
K3 Viaduct Set can be used to construct an elaborate "figure
8" layout with the use of its truss bridge, viaduct sections,
and incline pier set. While it can be used alone in this
configuration, it is also possible to use it with the K1
and K2 set to create an even larger layout. The dimensions
of the K3 set are approximately 6'4" x 2'2" using our 12-3/8"
radius curve track.
