This car was the 1776th car built from this lot. As a bicentennial tribute, it was given this paint job by Bethlehem Steel in July of 1976. Info provided by CNWHS

Chicago and North Western owned 565 of Bethlehem Car Works 100 ton 12 panel
quad hoppers. Chicago and North Western began taking delivery of these cars in
June 1966. These cars are still in active use today.
