Please copy & paste the entire description TEXT (no pictures please)from the
It will save time and reduce possible confusion in determining what you are ordering.
With the quantity of lines we carry it's not possible to memorize all of them.

Be sure you review our terms pages before placing your order:

First: Terms Page One   Then: Terms Page Two  Finally: Terms Page Three

If you place an order, you have agreed to our terms.

Please remember to give your first and last name and the city and state where you live in all your e-mails.

Non-USA customers please include the country.

Please Note:

First:   Some Micro-Trains releases can be limited and run out at M-TL in the first 1-2 days of the month.

Second:  Occasionally M-TL allocates orders and even when we order additional quantities beyond our Auto-Ship quantities on the first day of orders at 7:00am we do not receive all we ordered.  If this happens this month, we may be forced to allocate to our reservations based on timing of the reserve. If the customer requests multiple copies of an item they may be limited.

Third:  Beginning with the June 2008 releases Micro-Trains© Line delivers auto-ship quantities "simultaneously" across the United States.  Our shipment should arrive on the second or third business day of the month. This means that our window for reservations is now shorter.  Once they arrive here, stock pricing applies.  Please try to place your reservations by close of business on the first business day of the month.  For most of our customers this will not be an issue.

Fourth:  As always, if you have reserved (via e-mail with confirmation) an entire run of a series we will pre-order enough of those items to always fill your order.  An Entire Series means just that.  If you say you want all the circus items you will get ALL the circus items unless WE indicate that an item is not included. Also customers who order complete monthly releases are assured of getting theirs as well.

Great Northern
Road #: N/A
83’ Pullman Heavyweight 3-2 Observation Car
Part #: MTL-144 00 020
This 83’ Pullman heavyweight 3-2 observation car is painted Pullman Green with metallic gold lettering. It was built by Pullman Standard in the mid-1920s and runs on six-wheel passenger trucks. The Plan 3959D observation car was the common “end-of-train” car style for many passenger trains throughout the early part of the 20th century. The introduction of the steel cars brought the end of the luxurious, artisan-crafted, and custom designed wooden cars which had been the rule since the 1880s. Pullman’s Heavyweight construction was modular, making it possible for floor plans to economically evolve with the times.

Southern Pacific®
Road #: Shasta
Pullman Heavyweight 3-2 Observation Car
Part #: MTL-144 00 070
This Pullman heavyweight 3-2 observation car is painted the Southern Pacific’s Olive Green with metallic gold herald, lettering, and road name ‘Shasta’. It was built Pullman-Standard and then sold to Southern Pacific in 1930. Running on six-wheel passenger trucks, this observation car served the SP from 1930 though the ‘50s. The introduction of the steel cars brought the end of the luxurious, artisan-crafted, and custom designed wooden cars, which had been the rule since the 1880s. With the opening of the Pennsylvania Station in New York in 1910, and the Grand Central Terminal in 1913, passenger safety in the tunnels approaching these buildings demanded a more noncombustible material.

Stock Checks:

Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it. We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson. When we held items for customers’ orders, the order never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual orders. Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items are available and if possible attempt to locate what we don’t have while you are on the phone.
