Note:
Some Micro-Trains releases can be limited and run out at M-TL
in the first 1-2 days of the month.
Occasionally M-TL allocates orders and even when we order
additional quantities beyond our Auto-Ship quantities on the
first day of orders at 7:00am we do not receive all we ordered.
If this happens this month, we may be forced to allocate to
our reservations based on timing of the reserve and if the
customer is requesting multiple copies of the item.
Micro-Trains© Line has
announced that beginning with the June 2008 releases
they will deliver auto-ship quantities "simultaneously"
across the United States.
Our shipment should arrive on the second or third business day of the month.
This means that our window for reservations will be shorter.
Once they arrive here, stock pricing will apply.
Please be sure your reservations are placed by close of business on the first
business day of the month. For most of our customers this will not be an
issue. |

USS
Constitution Navy Series #12
Road Number IX-21
50’ Standard
Box Car, Double Doors, w/o Roofwalk
Part #: MTL-038 00 412
|
|
|
USS
Constitution, known as “Old Ironsides,” is
a wooden-hulled, three-masted heavy frigate
of the United States Navy. Named
after the United States Constitution, she
is the oldest commissioned ship afloat
in the world. The Constitution
was one of the six original frigates authorized
for construction by the
Naval Act of 1794 and was launched
in 1797. Joshua Humphreys designed
them to be the Navy’s capital ships
and so Constitution and her
sisters were larger and more heavily armed
than the standard frigates of the period. |

40’ Outside-Braced Box Car, Single Door
Part
#: MTL-#028 00 120
|
|
|
This
box car red 40’ outside braced box car with
single door proudly displays the ‘Canadian
Pacific’ name in white gothic lettering and
runs on black arch bar trucks. When built
in March of 1921, this box car had special hopper
doors fabricated into the floor for grain service. The
hoppers could be covered on the inside of the car
to allow service as an ordinary box car. The
hopper doors were removed during the 1930s. Canadian
Car & Foundry, National Steel Car, Eastern
Car Company and Canadian Pacific’s own shops
built 9,000 of these cars between 1920 and 1921.
