State Series Oklahoma State Car Road Number OK 1907 40' Standard Box Car, Plug Door P/N: 021 00 411

This 40’ Standard Box Car with plug door is Car #47 of a 50-car series representing each of the 50 states in the union. It bears the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher and Mistletoe flower, Oklahoma’s official state bird and flower. The flag of the state of Oklahoma is in the background. The road number 1907 represents the year ‘The Sooner State’ was admitted into the union.

Atlantic & West Point Road Number A&WP 37302 40’ Standard Boxcar w/Single Door P/N: 020 00 746

This 40’ standard boxcar with single operating door is painted aluminum with black roof, ends, door and lettering. The car displays the West Point Route diamond logo and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built in December 1941, A&WP 37302 is one of forty 40-foot 1937 A.A.R. boxcars from the 37300-37339 series built by Pullman-Standard.

SOO LINE Road Number: SOO LINE 176816 50' Standard Boxcar w/ Plug Door w/o Roofwalk, P/N: 038 00 400

This 50’ standard boxcar with plug door and no roofwalk is painted brown and lettered in white. It was built in February 1964 and serviced in May 1976. It runs on black Bettendorf trucks. The cars in this series are numbered using even numbers only. This car is designated XMLI meaning it is loader-equipped and insulated.

Pennsylvania Road Number PRR 260716 3 Bay ACF Center Flow® Covered Hopper, w/ Elongated Hatches P/N: 094 00 220

This light grey Evans (oops misprint- collectible alert!) 100 ton 3-bay covered hopper has elongated hatches large PRR Keystone logo, black lettering and runs on black Barber® roller bearing trucks. Built for PRR in April 1965 at ACF’s Huntington plant from an order of 20 on Lot #11-02339, these hoppers were numbered into PRR series 260706-260725. These twenty (20) lined cars classed H-45A were intended for food shipments. The series was soon expanded to 260706-260775.

Southern Pacific Road Number SP 659031 40' Hy-Cube Box Car, Single Door P/N: 101 00 060

This 40’ Hy-Cube boxcar is painted SP Brown with white lettering and Hydra-Cushion logo. The ends are painted with the ‘Excess Height’ end marks. It was rebuilt in January 1965 and serviced that same year. It runs on roller bearing trucks. The sub-series 659008-659047 is equipped with DF-2 loaders and assigned to unique appliance loading.

Canadian Pacific Road Number CP 309927 Heavyweight Depressed Center Flat Car P/N: 109 00 060

This black heavyweight depressed-center flat car with load
displays large white “Canadian Pacific” lettering and runs on black Commonwealth freight trucks. This short series of five cars was built by General Steel Castings in 1930. These cars were built with a one-piece cast steel Commonwealth frame, a hand brake at each end and 30” diameter wheels.

	Spokane, Portland & Seattle Road Number SP&S 14397 50' Standard Box Car, Double Doors P/N: 034 00 210
This boxcar red 50' standard boxcar with double Youngstown doors displays large white “Spokane Portland and Seattle” lettering with the “Spokane Portland and Seattle Ry” oval logo and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. Financed by the GN and NP, the SP&S Railway was incorporated in 1908. Tracks went from Portland to Pasco via the northern bank of the Columbia, and thence along the edge of the Coulees and the Palouse to Spokane along the north bank of the Columbia River. Traffic throughout the lifetime of the road was mostly grain west, lumber east. The road that was known "The Northwest's Own Railway" ended at BN's birth. Click photo for large view.

Norfolk & Western Road Number NW 202536 50' Flat Car, Fishbelly Side P/N: 045 00 020

This black 50’ flat car with fishbelly side and side mount brakewheel displays large white “Norfolk and Western” lettering and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. In 1870 the AM&O was organized from the merging together of 3 railroads: the Norfolk & Petersburg, Southside Railroad, and Virginia & Tennessee. In 1881, the AM&O was purchased by the Clarks from Philadelphia and the headquarters were moved to a city called Big Lick, soon renamed Roanoke. At that time, the AM&O was renamed Norfolk and Western. The Norfolk & Western's corporate existence ended as it was merged into Norfolk Southern Corporation.

Western Pacific Road Number WP 2162 60' Flat Car P/N: #524 00 020

This brown 60’ flat car has white stenciling and runs on black roller bearing trucks. Series 2161-2175 was built at Saint Paul Car & Foundry for WP in May of 1967 and equipped with cushioned underframes. Cars 2161-2166 are equipped with special tie-down devices.

Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Road Number RBBX 79468 50’ Box Car, Plug Door P/N: #507 00 370

This 50’ box car with plug door is painted dark green with white lettering and the black, red and white “Burlington Route” logo. It was built in December 1961 in Havelock, Nebraska, and runs on roller bearing trucks. This car is classified as an RBL refrigerator car even though it doesn’t have any ice bunkers or other “refrigerator car” appliances. To differentiate this reefer from the ice-cooled reefers, CB&Q designed this RBL paint scheme, yellow and black horizontal band on a dark green body. White lettering includes the slogans “Everywhere West” and “Way of the Zephyrs”, each on opposite sides of car.

CSX Transportation Road Number CSXT 620304 70’ Gunderson Well Car P/N: #540 00 070

This CSX blue Gunderson Husky-Stack® well car displays a large CSX logo in white,has white lettering and runs on black roller bearing trucks. The Husky-Stack® was a single well double-stack container car first introduced at the 1990 International Intermodal Expo in Atlanta, GA. The design allowed “cars” to be made up of single wells, or with simple modifications to be drawbar connected to create a multi-unit car.
