Prototype Information —
The SD70ACe is the latest in the line of EMD's "70"
locomotives, an evolution of the SD70MAC, although its radiator
design harkens more to that of the SD80/90 body. The SD70ACe
has been designed to fit the latest EPA standards and regulations,
and sports 4300 horsepower. |
Kato
is proud to announce the EMD SD70ACe locomotive in N scale.
These are very popular locomotives both for Union Pacific
and railfans. They can be seen all over the United States.
Kato is also announcing the 1st two (D&RGW and SP
were actually the last two schemes painted) of the six
heritage units. Each of these heritage units has its own
special very colorful paint scheme. The number on the
locomotive denotes the year of the merger of that road
into the UP. WW note: DRGW did not merge into
UP in 1989. DRGW bought SP in 1989. SP was
merged into UP in 1996

Standby
Pre-Orders are being accepted for several of these
items. Distributors are reporting that several of these
locomotives are over sold. We accept standby Pre-Orders
after we are fully Pre-Orderd. We will fill those Pre-Orders
if we receive additional units that other dealers cannot
pay for from the distributors and from any where our customers
are unable to pay for because their CC will not clear
the order after two attempts. If they are sending a USPS

days of sending our notice of the amount to send.

| About
the EMD SD70ACe Union Pacific "George Bush"--
Elements from Air Force One's wings and tails, including an American Flag, were placed on No. 4141's rear panel, with the sweeping lines of forward motion representing progress. You might see the real locomotive because over the next decade, UP 4141 is expected to operate for at least one million miles. Now you can display and/or operate an N scale model of this famous locomotive.
