D&RGW 67000 Series Boxcar 3-pack

Delivered by Pressed Steel Car in March and April of 1946
these cars differed from the pre-war cars by having the
Improved Dreadnaught 2-piece end with eight large roller-pin
shaped
ribs and continuous minor ribs in between. The cars
rode on ASF A-3 Ride Control trucks and these will model
those with
Youngstown doors. These cars were equipped with Duryea
sliding center sills. Those sills were banned from
interchange service in the early 1970's which restricted
them to on-line
service only. At that time many were assigned to
company service by the addition of AX- before the road
number.
Our run will feature three cars with unique road numbers
shrink-wrapped with a numbered label. Only 100
sets will be produced and the labels will be numbered if
you are into collecting.
