Part #: FNA-3611 - Eco-Blocks Kit |

Eco-Blocks, or whatever name they go by in your region, cast concrete blocks with a built-in cable lift ring. They’re used for traffic and erosion control primarily, but are seen at sand and gravel yards, building supply yards, in short, anywhere a temporary, portable, inexpensive containment wall is needed. They also form low, two to three blocks high, retaining walls. The kit includes a dozen full blocks, six half-blocks, and three each of assembled blocks on and two high.
Step one is slice the “sprue” from the ends of the full and half-blocks. Don’t have to be too neat here, as the blocks are usually placed with plenty of space between them. Next, paint with Floquil concrete color. Again, attaching them to a piece of cardboard with double-stick tape works well. Then dab some rust or dark brown on the lift rings in the middle of each block. Concrete never stays gray very long, so use chalks or washes to dirty and streak the sides. Here and there add some rust near the lift rings. |

Part #: FNA-3612 - Loading Docks Kit |

These loading docks were designed for use in intermodal yards, but are handy for warehouse docks and freight forwarding operations. Each kit includes two docks, approximately 20 by 60-feet, two ramps, plus some traffic cones and parking bumpers to keep forklifts and workers from going over the edge. The ramp is shaped to fit anywhere around the edge of the dock, and docks can be joined end-to-end or placed side-by-side.
Notice that the ramp is notched on the top edge to interlock with the dock itself, and can be placed anywhere around it’s perimeter. The docks themselves can be butted together by shaving off the lip around the top edge. Finishing starts with Floquil concrete, followed by washes or chalk weathering and finished with a coat of Testor’s |

Stock Checks:
Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we
don’t have while you are on the phone. |
