Gunderson Maxi-Stack III 5-unit Articulated Container Car
Here is a look at the upcoming first release for the deLuxe innovations Gunderson Maxi-Stack III.
These cars have die cast bodies, plastic brake detail, articulators and container guides, and
etched stainless steel platforms. They are equipped with body mounted Micro-Trains Line
Magne-Matic couplers.
Like the prototype, the deLuxe Maxi-III will fit all standard 48' or shorter containers in
the bottom position and 40' or longer containers in the upper position.

Here is the Maxi-III negotiating a 9.75" radius curve.

Like our Twinstack, these cars are ready for the rails and can be stored loaded or empty in their original package.

Part #: DI-210521 Ex-APL "Patch Job" Set #1 - Maxi-Stack III - 5-Unit Well Car

These blue Maxi-IIIs, with the APL logos and reporting marks patched put, will be run along with the second run of APL Maxi-IIIs we announced in November. These cars were patched out and placed in StackTrain service. Set 2 will have yellow conspicuity stripes and Set 1 will not have stripes. Our goal with this run was to save modelers the trouble of patching the APL cars. Be sure to get your reservations in to give us guidance in how much interest there is in each version. Factory equipped with Micro-Trains Line® couplers.
