Much Needed
Cabooses Finally Coming in N Scale
Bluford
Shops is proud to announce their first three releases
in N scale. These special release Atlas
International Standard Cupola Cabooses are painted and lettered
for Central of Georgia, Atlantic Coast
Line, and Monon. Despite the fact that a significant number
of locomotives have been released in N scale in
these three road names, NO CABOOSES EVER HAVE, until now! Each
road name will be available in 2 road
numbers, and will be equipped with Atlas’s caboose type
trucks and Micro-Trains Line body mounted couplers. |

Southern
inherited a group of steel cupola cabooses from Savannah & Atlanta.
They were often seen far from their east Georgia birthplace
and lasted nearly to the end of caboose operations.
Appropriate
N scale Southern locos: Too many to list! Nearly all Southern
Tuxedo Black and early Norfolk Southern (no white frame
stripe) diesels are appropriate companions for these cabooses. |
