Next time you're driving around town, take special note of the big towers you see in the sky. Cell Phone towers are becoming a common site in modern America to meet the demand of millions and millions of wireless electronics users. Seeing how many us model industrial scenes where these towers are common, we hope that these antenna towers will find a special place on your layout or module.

We modeled our N Scale Cell Phone Tower after a common style found all over the country. These easy-to-assemble kits feature fine attention to detail and include the pole.

Installation Instructions

  • Remove the etched metal pieces from their frame using a sharp hobby knife.

  • Fold the three attached sides of the open triangular part to form a bottomless box.

  • Note that each side of this has a single mounting tab extending from the center. Locate the second triangular etching with grill pattern and mount it onto the three tabs (this part has corresponding holes for the mounting tabs). Secure with a small amount of glue.

  • With the antenna platform assembly complete, slide the pole in through the bottom (bottom being the side with the grill detail) so that it extends just a few thousandths above the top of the assembly. Glue the pole in place from the top and bottom of the assembly.

  • We've also added a cover plate for to cover the top of the pole and a small oval shaped access port that can be glued near the bottom.

  • We suggest painting this model with an air brush to ensure the fine details are not covered with thick brush strokes
